Multiple companies
Onboard each clinic, merchant, or VAT under your organization in the dashboard, then use that company’s API key for EGS and invoices.
Why companies and keys stay in the dashboard
Creating a legal entity (new VAT/CR) and issuing API keys are sensitive account actions. Esnad keeps them in the dashboard so your team controls who can add companies and rotate keys. The public REST API is for EGS onboarding and invoicing after that setup.
Who this is for
Business, Studio, and Platform plans with more than one legal entity (different VAT numbers). Solo plans use a single company — follow the Quickstart.
Setup for each new company
- Add the legal entity — Dashboard → Companies. Enter name, VAT, CR, and Saudi address.
- Switch company context — use the company switcher so the active company is the new entity.
- Create an API key — Dashboard → API Keys. Store the raw key securely (shown once).
- EGS + invoices via API — use that company’s key for EGS and Invoices. Seller VAT on each invoice must match that company’s profile.
What each company owns
- Own VAT, CR, and company profile
- Own API keys (sandbox and/or live)
- Own EGS units, CSIDs, and PIH chain
- Own invoices
Organization-level: plan, billing, invoice/team quotas, and how many companies you may create.
Production checklist
Before production EGS or
zatca_live_ keys, the company profile must be complete (VAT, CR, and Saudi address). Sandbox EGS does not require a complete profile.Next steps
After you have a key for the company, continue with the Quickstart (EGS → first invoice) or import the API collection.
